i woke up at 3am to a high pitch squeal in my left ear, i looked over to my fiance to see if he was hearing it but he was fast asleep. I sat there for a good ten minutes and it didnt go away so i started to get scared thus bringing me to the computer. I have a ringing in my left ear, high pitch squeal and i am 4 months pregnant. i have no loss in balance or any type of vertigo. Can anyone help me? i’d really love to go back to sleep and not be worried about this.

S Ringing in Ear?
Several months ago I got a high pitched “ringing” in my ears. It went away after a few days. Yesterday, the ringing started again in one ear. It doesn’t hurt, annoying when I focus on it. Is there any home remedy? I’ve never had ear or allergy problems.

I tend to hear A very very high pitch sound and its always there. i have had this for about a month now and i was scared i had a brain tumor (god i hope i dont have one)… When it first began it was on the left ear and it was very hard to hear out of it and sounded like i had one ear under water. now that has gone away and i had my ears checked. the doctor put my ears to a test and said i hear amazingly good (perfect he said). But even so i still now have this high pitch ringing, i know its tinnitus related but how sirious is this? i hear some people have had rining in the ears for over 20 years. but im only 24 years old, any feed back please? thank you.
